A great classic has been reinvented! The Wishbone Chair, or the Y Chair, was designed by Hans Wegner in 1949, which is one of over 500 chairs he designed. Wegner was known for his chair designs, and he believed that no chair should have a bad angle. It should be beautiful from the front, side and back, and the Wishbone Chair is a great example of that! Wegner once said, “We must take care that everything doesn’t get so dreadfully serious. We must play–but we must play seriously.” I aim to apply this mentality to all of my own designs.
