I have always been a big admirer of pretty much anything Jonathan Adler designs. Everything in his store is playful, yet sophisticated, and it all seems to pop up in the most unusual places because it blends effortlessly into many different styles. While I love everything he does, I definitely can’t afford the price tag of it all. So, I was really excited to discover today’s save and splurge!
Every time I see C. Jere’s Rain Drop Sculpture, I am stopped in my tracks. It makes such a bold statement no matter where you put it, and these pictures really don’t do it justice as it is so beautiful in person. But with a price tag of $1,750, it stops my wallet in its tracks also. You do get your money’s worth with it though. It is a large piece of art, 66″ wide x 34″high x 10″ deep.
This is a sculpture that I could never DIY. If I attempted it, it would most likely fall apart or look like a small child did the work. So, up until now, I just admired it from afar. I am so happy to introduce you to my save option (and one of my new favorite stores)! Kenneth Wingard’s Graphite Large Op Art for only $238. It’s a little smaller than the original at 49″l x 27″h, and doesn’t have quite the same intricate feel, but this is definitely the closest I’ll get to a real C. Jere’s Sculpture anytime soon.
To further prove how amazing this looks on the wall, here are some great interior installation shots in a variety of spaces.
