Today’s post is a great way to spruce up old or inexpensive furniture, add interest to your walls, doors, windows and mirrors, and just have a little fun with your space. (Thanks Mary Chaney for introducing me!) Overlays by Danika Cheryle have developed a relatively inexpensive way to add fret work like texture to your owns pieces to give them a little pizazz. They were developed with Ikea furniture in mind, and they morph those mass produced items into an expensive designer looking pieces. They can be stuck to the face of furniture, walls, mirrors, you name it, and then you can paint it any color your heart desires. Voila! Your generic piece of furniture has an whole new look. You can also peel them off once you get tired of the style, and you can go back to plain or order news ones and start all over! Here are some pictures from their website to give you an idea of their versatility, but the options are limitless!
