I have been trying to find the perfect place to for some chalkboard paint ever since I saw this article on patterned chalkboards over at Apartment Therapy.

I know that chalkboard paint is not a new idea, but I am still obsessed with it. There is a place and time for it, and these are some great examples for when to use it. I love the idea of kitchen and kid’s play room. Because I live in a rental apartment (and who knows how long I’ll be here) I don’t want to do anything that will be hard to change. So, for now, I’ll just live vicariously through these pictures.
